Season of festival has started with holidays for many of us. With increasing awareness about environment & conservation, the new generation is
contributing their share by no fire crackers. This concern is worth appreciating.
सणांचे दिवस आले की सुट्यांचे कार्यक्रम आखले जातात. दैनंदिन जीवनाच्या धकाधकीतून लांब निसर्गरम्य ठिकाणी लोक काही दिवस घालवणे पसंत करतात. नवीन पिढीतील बरीच मुले फटाके
न वाजवता सण साजरे करताना दिसतात. त्यांच्यातील हा सकारात्मक बदल निश्चितच कौतुकास्पद आहे. काही लोक आणखी एक पाऊल पुढे जाऊन निसर्गाला जाणून घ्यायचा देखील प्रयत्न करतात. ते सकाळी लवकर पक्षी निरीक्षणासाठी आणि निसर्ग भ्रमणासाठी बाहेर पडतात. अशाच काही निसर्गप्रेमींसाठी निसर्ग भ्रमणाचे कार्यक्रम घेण्याची संधी आम्हाला मिळाली.
Many people prefer to spend their holidays away from the daily life schedule. They choose places situated in nature’s lap & even attempt to learn about
nature. We got an opportunity to interact with few such groups through our nature trail activity.
Participants of nature trail got an opportunity to listen to various bird calls; they could see some types of birds. Birds like drongo & black winged kite displayed their typical flight style. Butterflies like sailor, grass yellow, ring butterfly, great eggfly pleased the eyes
with their fluttering. Various types of spiders amazed the participants with their feeding & web techniques.
2 nature trails were organized by Mr. Ashish Amrute – Amrute’s Nisarga Sahavas, Village Gavhe for members staying at his resort (9422052095 / 02358282315 / http://nisargasahavas.com/). One trail was conducted for interested group of
families from Pune who stayed at Mangalmurti Niwas – Jalgaon Dapoli (Dr. Ghangurde 9423877388 / 7798720748 / e-mail: mangalmurtidapoli@gmail.com)
This is also the time of change of season from monsoon to winter. It can be felt during the nature trail as well. Sighting / call of winter migrant bird species indicate this change of season. Leaves of deciduous trees show beginning of yellowing of leaves which will shed off over a period of
next few days. Such trees will prepare themselves for flowering by shedding all the leaves. Most of the monsoon flora also show signs of drying up, going dormant only to sprout
during next monsoon season.

निसर्ग भ्रमणाचे २ कार्यक्रम श्री. आशिष अमृते – अमृते निसर्ग सहवास, गव्हे, दापोली (९४२२०५२०९५ / ०२३५८२८२३१५ / http://nisargasahavas.com/ ) यांनी आयोजित केले होते. येथे आम्हाला निसर्ग प्रेमी पर्यटकांशी संवाद साधायची संधी मिळाली. दुसरा एक निसर्ग भ्रमण
कार्यक्रम पुण्यातील निसर्गप्रेमी पर्यटकांसाठी आम्ही घेतला. ते मंगलमूर्ती निवास जालगावं, दापोली ( डॉ. घांगुर्डे ९४२३८७७३८८ / ७७९८७२०७४८ / e-mail: mangalmurtidapoli@gmail.com) येथे राहिले होते.
निसर्गात फिरताना ह्या सर्वांना भरपूर प्रकारच्या पक्ष्यांचे आवाज ऐकता आले तसेच काही प्रकारचे
पक्षी दिसले आणि काही पक्ष्यांची उडण्याची वेगळीच झलक बघायला मिळाली. विविध प्रकारच्या फुलपाखरांनी त्यांच्या रंगांनी मनाला मोहित केले. निसर्गातील इतर घटक जसे कोळी, कीटक, वनस्पती इत्यादींची देखील ओळख करून घ्यायला सर्व उत्सुक होते. त्यांचा उत्साह निश्चितच स्तुत्य होता.
ह्याच वेळेला ऋतूही बदलत असतो. पावसाळा संपून हिवाळ्याची सुरुवात झालेली असते. थंडीत ह्या परिसरात येणारे स्थलांतरित पक्षी देखील या ऋतूबदलाची खात्रीच पटवून देतात. पानगळीचे वृक्ष हळूहळू आपल्या
पानांचे रंग बदलू लागतात. ही पाने पिवळी पडून गळून पडतात. संपूर्ण वृक्ष फुलण्यासाठी जणू स्वतःला तयार करतो. पाने नसलेला, फुलांनी पूर्ण भरलेला असा वृक्ष बघताना डोळ्याचे पारणे फिटतात. पावसाळी वनस्पतीसुद्धा वाळायला लागतात आणि सुप्त अवस्थेत जायच्या तयारीत असतात – आपल्याला पुढच्या पावसात भेटण्याचा संदेश देऊन…….
आगामी काळात येणाऱ्या सुट्ट्यांमध्ये दापोली परिसरात फिरायला आल्यास आपणदेखील निसर्गाचा हा अनुभव घेऊ शकता.
